The Demon King's Script

A great demon king who loves to act lands in some unlucky plane and discovers an interesting thing called the Book of Fate. Through it, she can see comments from another world, called book reviews. The great demon king stroked her chin and came up with a bold idea. Scene One: The great demon king is startled, thinking someone has seen through her identity, but thankfully, it's all just a misunderstanding. She thinks, Thank goodness. They haven't seen through me. Otherwise, to smooth things over, would I have to make a show of massacring a city? Though she's a villain, she's one who follows the rules of the game. She doesn't want to kill people willy-nilly. Even when she has to kill, she's so helpless about it! Book reviews: [Is that even something a person would say?] [Yeah, right. I don't believe a word of it!] [You shameless old demon, shut up!] [Other protagonists pretend to be weak while actually being strong, charging down the road to power, often panicking inside while looking cool as a cucumber. But our great demon pretends to be weak while actually being strong, never turning back on her quest for an Oscar. She's cool as a cucumber inside, but looks panicked on the outside.] Scene Two: A lovestruck young girl mistakes the great demon king for her rival, and the demon king wonders whether she should go along with it and act out a romance. Later, she decides not to take on anything too difficult just yet. Never mind whether she can pull it off. If she can't hold back her laughter and breaks character, she'll have to eat everyone on the set, and that's just too serious a consequence. For the sake of love and peace, she can only hold back her eagerness to work on her acting skills. "I've made so many sacrifices for world peace." The great demon king sighs, as usual. Book reviews: [Sure, sure, you almost have me feeling touched!] [What the heck does this have to do with love and peace?] [Love and Peace: Don't move, don't move.] [Some demon: The biggest flaw of this person... this demon, is that I'm too considerate of the greater good, too kind.] The great demon king: I'm the protagonist of this book (the most evil villain) / Anyone worse than me has to die / Lawful Evil (?) / Why do you always force me to act? Wouldn't it be better to just play along with me? / After all, I'm just a devil who loves acting / Devoting my endless life to an even more endless career in the performing arts / No CP, no romance The protagonist isn't human. She doesn't kill indiscriminately, but she has no conscience and is a real piece of work. Acting is her life's work, so be warned, and don't let her acting fool you. It's unlikely she'll be exposed. Other people get exposed and end up in a love-triangle showdown, but when the great demon is exposed, it's straight to the crematorium. (Sighs wistfully.) And the foolish author is merely a poor chronicler. Theme: The light of humanity shines in the darkest, most hopeless world.
