[A silly story about a senior disciple who, in order to take his junior disciple back to their village, tearfully slays demons all along the way. (Not really.)]
Qin Shu wakes up starving in the middle of the night and finds himself inside a rural supernatural novel as a sacrificial character, one who gets a sword through the heart right from the start.
In the original plot, the protagonist kills him after he's possessed by a ghost.
To survive, Qin Shu clings desperately to the protagonist's leg and begs for help through his tears.
After managing to stay alive, he becomes an appendage to the protagonist's leg, the kind that won't come off even if you try and moves around on its own :).
He even goes down the path of being a devoted simp and never turns back.
The road back to the village is long and dangerous, so Qin Shu plays it safe all the way.
There's a ghost ahead? Hey, no need to worry. I've already grabbed the protagonist's leg, so he can ward off evil spirits.
A monster's blocking the road? Don't panic. I'm by the protagonist's side, protected by his halo. Nothing to worry about.
We got poisoned together? No need to freak out! The protagonist's halo can cure any poison. Just sleep easy.
But as he keeps clinging to that leg... Hmm? Something feels a little too right?
Holy crap, when did I end up in bed with him?!
Qin Shu: "..."
As expected, you get nothing in the end when you're a simp. Even keeping your clothes on is too much to ask.
(╥﹏╥)

Check out my upcoming novel, What Is This Bloody Love Triangle?
Blurb: Jiang Zhixiao reads an explicit novel in the middle of the night and wakes up as its protagonist.
The novel's beautiful shizun is aloof and frail, desired and tormented by several characters, and ends up with them in a bizarre happy ending.
On his first night after transmigrating, Jiang Zhixiao runs into three disciples, the Demon Venerable, and the antagonist, all suffering from the same love poison.
The System urges him: Choose one person and cure their poison.
Jiang Zhixiao, a lazy fish who's already decided to lie flat: "...Can I choose none of them?"
System: In three minutes, all of them will be selected by default.
Jiang Zhixiao: "What?!"
Afraid of a gruesome fate, he chooses the antagonist, whose personality is the hardest to read. He gives him the antidote and stays with him all night.
The next day, when the door opens, all three disciples and the Demon Venerable are standing outside.
The gentle, modest eldest disciple looks sad. "Shizun, your disciple felt awful last night."
The cold, merciless second disciple fixes him with a frigid stare. "Why didn't you choose me, Shizun?"
The calm, reserved third disciple presses his lips together in displeasure and stares at him without saying a word.
The sinister, obsessive Demon Venerable lets out a quiet laugh. "A-Xiao, I'll make you regret this."
Even the antagonist lying behind him joins in, propping his face up on one hand as he drawls, "Yeah. Why did you only cure my poison? Do you like me?"
The four men outside are immediately provoked. Their eyes turn red as they close in step by step.
Jiang Zhixiao suddenly remembers that this novel is ten percent plot and ninety percent explicit content. Terrified, he turns to run, but before he can get out the door, someone grabs him tight.
Looking at the group surrounding him, Jiang Zhixiao keeps a composed face while panicking inside: Help! What is this bloody love triangle?
If it comes to it, just chop me into five pieces and give one to each of them.
Theme: None
