After I Died, I Became the White Moonlight in Your Heart

In other people's eyes, he was a vivid yet aloof rose. Being by Jiang Xu's side was a blessing for Jiang Xu.

He had been with Jiang Xu for four years and imagined many different futures for them, but never once thought Jiang Xu would pair up with someone else.

That person was like him before he had been tamed. Jiang Xu said he was a rose born to be plucked. Jiang Xu stripped away his thorns, and he obediently let himself be tamed, only for Jiang Xu to turn around and say he liked who he used to be.

It turned out Jiang Xu only liked the process of taming him.

After Yan Hui died, his soul left his body. He watched Jiang Xu seek pleasure, then watched him suffer in agony.

In death, Yan Hui became the irreplaceable white moonlight in Jiang Xu's heart.

Two years later, he was Ye Qiao, and he willingly became Jiang Xu's kept lover.

Jiang Xu tried to find traces of Yan Hui in Ye Qiao.

He smiled. What a coincidence: the Yan Hui of the past was the Ye Qiao of today, the beloved white moonlight Jiang Xu had never stopped longing for.

#Pretending to be yourself to be your lover#

I never really loved you. I only came back to get revenge.

P.S. Love can't be reclaimed once lost + revenge on the scumbag + rekindled love. Reborn for revenge, with an epic groveling-for-forgiveness arc.
