I Became a Nectar Source After Making a Pact with the Zerg General

After waking up from an explosion, Tao Nian discovers that he has fallen into a strange nest.

Beautiful patterns gradually appear on his body, along with gorgeous butterfly wings, and his body even begins producing strange, sticky, sweet butterfly honey.

An immense hunger hangs over him every moment until his evolution is complete.

In an age of gods, the war between the royal clans has ended, and everything is waiting to be rebuilt.

After escaping the nest, Tao Nian is so hungry that he is pale and gaunt.

To sate his hunger and get food, he has no choice but to sell his most valuable asset: the butterfly honey that flows from him nonstop.

Tao Nian's butterfly honey is in high demand at premium prices on the black market. Every male insect wants to lick it and have a taste, and some even want to claim him for themselves.

One day, a mysterious buyer comes looking for him.

A certain noble, cold insect general has an unusually high demand for butterfly honey. But... who can complain when he pays so well?

Later, when Tao Nian has earned enough money and no longer wants to be the general's honey source, the insect general presents him with a new contract.

Tao Nian takes a look.

It's a marriage contract.

Shen Zhu: Get married.

Tao Nian: -.-

Easygoing, beautiful bottom X rational, cold top (though that rational coldness eventually goes out the window)

PS: Bottom's POV. Insect-mother story, insect mothers reign supreme, with few females and many males. The bottom is an insect mother, and the setting includes lots of original elements.

No complicated schemes or wars, just sweet romance and healing.

Synopsis written on October 9, 2022, to be revised.

Theme: Striving to survive.
