That day, Yan Chu had too much to drink and rescued a handsome guy from a nearby university from a gang of thugs. He was tall and slim, exactly Yan Chu's type.

A single glance left him dazzled, a second had him falling, and by the third he wanted to...

But Boss Yan never took advantage of the young and innocent. He did a good deed, left without giving his name, and walked away.

Later, the handsome guy showed up in front of him again, covered in bruises. He insisted on working at the bar to show his gratitude, even putting on a sob story with a poker face.

Chi Zheng: "They stole all my living expenses."

Chi Zheng: "My roommates are ostracizing me."

Chi Zheng: "My parents don't care about me, either."

Faced with such a handsome guy who was the very picture of misery, Boss Yan eventually gave in.

Until one day, Yan Chu spotted a trending topic titled [Wealthy Young Master Works at a Bar to Experience the Working Life].

He clicked on it, only to realize that the young master looked awfully familiar...

Chi Zheng, expressionless as he played a game, glanced at the person lying across his lap with a phone smashed against his face.

"You saw the trending topic? Tsk, I already told them to take it down."

Boss Yan: "..."

So how exactly did this guy manage to shamelessly pretend to be miserable around him?
