Don't Even Think About Killing Yourself in Front of Me (Marvel and DC)

Harris Hector Pitt is something like a half-ghost. Humans can barely see him. Under certain circumstances, such as after a tremendous shock or when they are in a poor state of mind, they can see him, but that isn't a good thing. For a week or two after making eye contact with him, they experience intense and frequent HHP symptoms at heights. He always feels guilty about this, so he takes care of the person who saw him during that time. But in all these years, no one has ever been as adamant as these superheroes that he isn't a figment of their imagination, or tried so hard to see him again. He thought the superheroes' iron will wasn't supposed to be used for this. The scary part is that sometimes they really do go too far and manage to draw Harris out. Harris is always trying to figure out why this happens. But he'll never understand. Because Harris Hector Pitt has no normal emotions and can't comprehend the complicated human concepts of "love" and "dependence." P.S. HHP at-height phenomenon refers to the urge people feel to jump when standing somewhere high and looking down. Sometimes they also imagine what it would be like to fall after jumping, even though they may never have considered suicide that way. In severe cases, they might jump before realizing what they're doing. Theme: Munch, munch, munch
