Ye Feiqing transmigrated into a book and became a little prince of the Ye Kingdom. He was sent to the Qin Kingdom for a political marriage and made empress.
Everyone said he had risen from obscurity to great heights, but only Ye Feiqing knew that Qin Beichen, the emperor of the Qin Kingdom, was a moody tyrant who favored his concubines and mistreated his empress. His first empress had died within six months.
Divorce! He had to get divorced as soon as possible, and become a discarded ex-empress!
But he soon found that Qin Beichen wasn't quite like the one in the book. At times he was aloof and calculating, at times obsessive and volatile, and at times naive and cruel. Which one was the real tyrant?
Oh, all three were real. The tyrant had dissociative identities, and being pursued by all three of them was a lot of pressure!
Ye Feiqing finally broke through and got his divorce decree. He returned to the Ye Kingdom, rose to power, and ascended the throne.
But before long, Qin Beichen led his army to the capital, killed all the rebellious ministers, and spared the newly crowned Emperor Ye.
Ye Feiqing bristled. "Emperor Qin, what exactly do you want?!"
Qin Beichen smiled faintly. "I only wish to welcome Emperor Ye into my harem."
Whether you're a star in the sky or an emperor, I'll win you over again. You're the only one for me.
Many years later, the tyrants finally learned how to get along with the rival they hated most, or rather, how to compete with him for favor.
Tyrant Qin: Whoever dares fight me for the empress will have their whole clan wiped out!
Wei Qi: His first kiss, first hand-holding, first everything, all belong to me! Get lost!
Li Shaoyou: Shut up! I'm the pitiful one Qinging loves most!
Tyrant Qin/Wei Qi/Li Shaoyou: Honey, look at me! Please summon me tonight!
Ye Feiqing: ... You're all one person. Stop making up extra roles for yourself!
Reading guide:
1. One-on-one pairing, no switching roles. The top has a harem, but it's only for show; there will be reasonable explanations.
2. They marry first, then the top pursues his spouse and suffers for it; a broken relationship is mended.
3. Male pregnancy. The Ye Kingdom has a special bloodline, and royal men can bear children.
4. True dissociative identities, not a poly relationship.
