I Brought the Infinite World's Boss Home

[New novel "Infinite Staircase" is currently being serialized]

Blurb:

On the first morning after Yin Shen quit his job, he accidentally stepped into thin air while pouring water, and icy, salty seawater engulfed him in an instant.

He struggled to the surface and found a listless fish floating above his head. "Hello! Welcome. I'm the guide for S-rank employees... yawn..."

Yin Shen: ???

Why did this guy seem so gloomy, just like Yin Shen himself had been at work?

But the other employees in this bizarre world were vicious. After Yin Shen barely made it out of a terrifying world with half his life left, he discovered that he could no longer touch anything in his home.

Want a drink of water? How about a ghost whale fall?

Want to watch TV? First, a round of battle royale.

Want to sleep? Three layers of dreams, with no upper limit.

Every game was a matter of life and death.

All Yin Shen wanted now was to sell off all his furniture and want nothing from life.

But risking his life had its benefits, too. Every time he completed a world, one of his most urgent wishes came true.

Then one day, Yin Shen discovered that he had brought Li Lingzhou from the virtual world home with him...

Yin Shen: Don't ask me. I have no idea why that was my wish.

[Decisive, ruthless ghost boss and gorgeous top x warm-hearted artist bottom who unmasks everyone else's secret identities, yet has no idea he's wearing the biggest secret identity of all]

[A little more]

Li Lingzhou sat with one leg crossed over the other on a hillside in a mass grave.

It was a meeting.

"Your KPIs this quarter are terrible. Not only are you failing to scare people, you're letting so many of them escape."

The ghosts whispered among themselves: That's because we've been busy helping you woo your wife...

Next novel in the relay, "Infinite Staircase":

Shen Ke took a delivery of flowers to a customer on behalf of a shop assistant, then wandered into an old apartment block.

Then he realized the address on the bill didn't exist, and he couldn't get out.

At the end of the hanging staircase, in an open space at the very bottom of the apartment block, he saw a strange black cat.

Shen Ke took out a small packet of biscuits to feed it, but it only sniffed them before leaping into his arms, eyes glistening with tears.

"Don't be afraid. I'll get you out of here with me."

Countless eyes hid along the hanging staircase, greedily watching the outsider. They knew he would soon become one of them: neither human nor ghost, doomed to remain here forever.

Yet Shen Ke survived against all odds. Every floor he passed caused an uproar among the ghosts, and he soon became infamous: a demon more heartless than the ghosts, leaving nothing alive wherever he went.

But Shen Ke didn't know about the rumors circulating in the apartment block. He was too busy worrying about one thing: the black cat he'd taken in was clingy, which was bad enough, but it also loved licking his chest.

It was the same bad habit his boyfriend, who'd left without a word years ago, had had.
