I Picked Up a Clump of Hair in a Game

[My new novel, The Monster's First Fruit Shop, is now underway!]

What makes me more beautiful?

My skin?

No, my hair!

Xu Zhaohe enters a horror game, only to be latched onto by one of the things inside. It's dark and shiny, thick and silky: hair that horror games adore, and that loves to cling to people!

And this hair doesn't just cling to people, it's clingy!

Xu Zhaohe: "...Don't be like that. I only like fluffy things, I really do..."

The hair rubs against his wrist. "Waaah!"

...The hair can make sounds!! And it's a whiny little thing!

Xu Zhaohe still won't pet it, so the hair gets a little sulky and starts trying to curl itself into shape. First a round head, then a round body, short limbs, a long tail, and two pointy ears...

The hair is very pleased. It thinks there's no difference between it and a cat now! It does its best to meow!

Xu Zhaohe reluctantly gives in. Who could resist that?

Hair is actually useful in all sorts of ways. It can strangle people, work as a whip, be braided... It can make a blanket, or even do cross-stitch?

The hair: "Waaah!"

Anyway, my darling petted me! He petted me! He'll kiss me someday, too!

I'm so happy!

This novel is also known as My Lover Is a Whiny Little Thing and That Hair Just Keeps Going Waaah. There are all kinds of lovey-dovey antics, because hair really is useful in so many ways!

A high-IQ, fluffy-things-loving, endlessly versatile uke x a smooth-haired seme who pretends to cry and whine while flashing his bird

What a heavenly pairing!!!

[Up next]

The owner of the fruit shop in Qingfeng Alley, Boss Lin, is a mysterious figure whose name is never spoken among humans or spirits.

His main job is running his shop. His side job is catching ghosts, subduing demons, and reading feng shui, and he's a first-rate professional.

Boss Lin slings a bag over his shoulder and goes to a metaphysics conference. While the other masters speak eloquently onstage and share their experience, Boss Lin diligently hands out flyers below.

A devout believer accidentally takes one and sees:

#Today's Special#

The believer looks at him with disdain. "A fruit shop owner? How can just anyone come in here? We came to find a master to save our lives!"

Boss Lin flips the flyer over with a blank expression. "I'm the master."

The believer looks down:

Lin Suhui can take on heaven, earth, and even thin air. One of his greatest pleasures in life is taking his fruit spirits along to beat up ghosts.

The little apple demon follows behind him, brandishing a stick and shouting threats. "Our Linlin is super fierce!"

A ghost he'd once beaten gives its testimony: "Good grief, I thought I was going to die all over again!"

Everyone who's seen Boss Lin at work, eliminating the problem for good, recommends him. Eventually, a long line of believers comes asking him to help, only to find a notice posted on the door:

#Closed Today#

The boss went out to hand out flyers!

Please come early tomorrow!

Author's notes:

1. The hair really is hair. The seme really is hair at the beginning! He turns into a person later, but it's going to be a long journey.

2. The opening paragraph of the blurb comes from an advertisement.

3. This silly author has no brains and no logic. Just read it for fun!

4. One-on-one, very sweet. If it's not sweet, you can spank Xiao Ying!

5. Anti-piracy measures are in place. Thanks, cuties, for supporting the official release! Mwah~

If you like it, please add it to your favorites~ I'm rolling around and acting cute, begging you to follow me, mwah~
