The You I See Is in Color

Blurb

Lu Xiuyuan has a secret he has never told anyone: he can see the colors of people's souls, and there is only one color for each person.

Blue means steadfast and devoted, red means bold and passionate, white means simple and kind, and black means deeply calculating.

Until one day, at a blind date, he saw a woman with all kinds of colors behind her, as if she were carrying a Photoshop color palette on her back.

Lu Xiuyuan clicked his tongue and thought, Is she some kind of living punk?

Yu Yan has a secret she has never told anyone: she has several guardian spirits around her that nobody else can see, and every one of them has a useless superpower.

Guardian Spirit A can see how long people will live, but is always mistaken for a suspect by the police.

Guardian Spirit B can read minds, but is used by a friend who loves shipping couples to sense whether her favorite pairing has genuine feelings for each other.

Guardian Spirit C... never mind, let's not get into it.

Yu Yan thinks that in this prosperous, democratic, harmonious, and friendly society, nobody will ever understand her. Then one day, at a blind date, she meets a doctor who looks gentle and refined.

Yu Yan tries to make conversation: "Then I can come to you whenever I get sick."

The man replies, "I'm a forensic pathologist."

Yu Yan: "..."
