The Two Kings of Winter

[May your reign last for a thousand generations. May your kingdom endure forever.] This is the story of two men who don't want to be queens and both want to be kings, bickering from under the covers to on top of them. After becoming chief of the Winterwind Tribe, Aida had been waiting for his bride from the Snowhoof Tribe. But what the Snowhoof Tribe sent was a corpse! The bride's father, chief of the Snowhoof Tribe, offered his only son instead, honoring the alliance between their tribes. Aida stared at the chief's son for a long while. "If my wife can't bear me an heir, what's the point of marrying him?" He raised his head, proud and composed. "I'll marry you." The two kings conquered far and wide, their armies sweeping across the northern lands through wind and snow. The tribes united, and a new kingdom was founded. But peace never came. Instead, the two kings spent every day bickering. Fuluodi: A king must have more than a strong body, firm resolve, and extraordinary courage. He must also possess the wisdom to match. Aida: Come to my tent tonight, and we can discuss your wisdom. After a passionate night of burning desire, tender intimacy, endless affection, and fervent lovemaking... Aida: The queen's position is still vacant. I hope you'll consider taking it. Fuluodi: I hope you'll give some serious thought to who gets to be queen.
