The Devil's Music in Your Ears (Soul Land)

Amazing! For some reason, I woke up inside someone else's belly!! And there's a soft, squishy baby next to me? Why can't I understand a single word of the voices coming from outside the belly?! I immediately remembered the ordeal of being forced to memorize English passages back in the day. I couldn't help cursing inwardly: I don't want to study another language!!! Back then, I was the kind of person who avoided memorizing my English textbook whenever possible and memorized as little as I could. On my first day in another world, I was already fretting inside the belly. After I was born, I fell asleep in the cold. When I woke up hungry, I realized I didn't have a mother anymore! I found out that Dad had fed us rice water with someone else's help, and he was the only grown man who was always hanging around. Every now and then, he'd wipe away a couple of tears and say a few things. Of course, I couldn't understand him. At that point, I couldn't help getting worried all over again...
