Yuezhu

Lin Xiaozhu is the child of a medicine-bearer and an ordinary person, and the world calls her a "monster."

Once a medicine-bearer unleashes her power, no one can stand against her. Even an army of thousands may not be enough to defeat her.

But she fears and loathes this power. If she could, she would simply be an ordinary woman, growing old alongside the person she loves.

Those who used her seized on her weakness, hiding the truth and deceiving her.

On the surface, it is a battle to steal a wife. Behind the scenes, a palace coup threatens the throne.

Two men put on a show, but the women make it even more exciting!

This story has no connection to real history and is not based on any particular dynasty.

The following has nothing to do with the blurb above, but I have to say this:

I started writing Moonlit Bamboo ten years ago. To be honest, picking it up again now makes me want to ask my ten-years-ago self what on earth I was thinking. I have no idea how to continue it...

But since I came back to fill in this abandoned pit, I have to be prepared for the challenge!!!

Core idea: The moon casts slanting bamboo shadows; through lifetime after lifetime, I await your return.
