The Madam Refuses to Call Him Husband

“Massacre the city means not leaving a single person alive... and that includes you.”

Lu Ling would never forget how her future husband said those words to her as she knelt before him, begging for mercy.

Sun Ce ultimately became the man who killed Lu Ling’s father.

When they first met, he thought she was a wrinkly little thing. The next time they met, his army was at her city’s gates, and his blade was pointed at her father’s life.

Now he was the ruler of Jiangdong, the Wu Marquis whom everyone feared and respected.

And she was forced to become his wife.

Half a month after their wedding, the great general, undefeated on the battlefield, still hadn’t even tasted the joys of their wedding night.

He thought he had married the woman who hated him to the bone, and that he would never get so much as a fingertip from her for the rest of his life.

Little did he know that the woman inside was clutching her chest, her heart beating faster and faster, and she was about to give herself away.

1. One-on-one romance, both leads are each other’s first and only, two endings (BE + HE).

2. Can be read as a regular historical romance: angst and sweetness.

3. Adapted from history.

4. The story’s subject matter is rather unusual. If you can read a few more chapters, I’d be even happier if you added it to your collection.

Theme: Because of you, I fear nothing
