[The setting for when Zai Zai was born is being revised. Since the story is very long and the author has limited time, the revisions may take a while to complete.]
Please follow my new pure-love palace novels set in ancient times: The Old Emperor's Little Darling and The Little Prince Sent for a Political Marriage.
One-sentence summary: A child star from a celebrity family is hounded off the internet by jealous haters. After growing up and reinventing himself, he makes a stunning comeback and becomes a superstar.
Plot summary: Ryan is a mixed-race celebrity with every skill maxed out and a cheat for every occasion. He's at the top of his game from the start, hailed as a "masterpiece of God." He began modeling at twelve, debuted as a singer at sixteen, and launched a major world tour at eighteen. Educated at prestigious foreign universities, he travels in luxury cars and designer clothes, living so lavishly you'd hardly think he was a celebrity. Rumor has it he comes from a powerful family, but he has always worked diligently at his entertainment career.
On one show, the host asked him, "Why do you still work so hard?"
Ryan replied helplessly, "Because if I don't, I'll have to go home and inherit my dad's few little companies."
The audience suddenly understood: so he was a rich kid after all.
It wasn't until Ryan revealed his background that everyone learned who his father was and went completely stunned.
Onlookers: "You call those 'little companies'? Are you kidding me???"
The second book in I Do Whatever I Want in the Entertainment Industry, telling the story of Bai Liang's son, Zai Zai. Can be read as a standalone.
A star who rules the world outside but is sweet and adorable in private, the bottom × a handsome, tall, flirtatious, doting CEO, the top. The top is seventeen years older. The career plot takes center stage, with romance as a secondary thread. Sweet, satisfying, and that's all there is to it.
Warnings:
1. No male pregnancy. The bottom was created using reproductive technology.
2. A fluffy, indulgent wish-fulfillment story. The top dotes on the bottom, who has an impressive background, plenty of money, and a huge golden finger.
3. The top is a thirty-five-year-old man with a normal sex drive. Readers who only want virginal characters, beware.
4. There is no outline. The characters make up the story as they go, and the author is just an emotionless typing machine.
5. The author doesn't follow domestic celebrities. The characters aren't based on real people. This is just the author's own little bit of celebrity fandom, so please don't make personal attacks.
6. Since the protagonist is a celebrity, the story contains lots of online comments, which include spoilers. That's how it is.???

Blurb for the upcoming novel The Old Emperor's Little Darling:
As the least favored illegitimate son of the Yin family, Yin Cong's greatest wish is to leave home when he comes of age. Instead, his father sends him into the imperial harem to become a tool for Lady Yin to secure the emperor's favor, trapping him in the deep palace, where he sees no sunlight.
To get revenge on his father and aunt, Yin Cong takes a dangerous risk and deliberately gets in the way of Emperor Qiande's carriage.
The emperor has always despised the harem's ruthless scheming for favor, but this time, unexpectedly, he doesn't punish the pretty young man who has thrown himself in his path. Instead, he brings him back to his own chambers.
The Yin family loses power, Lady Yin is sent to the Cold Palace, and Yin Cong gets his revenge. The price, however, is spending every night in the imperial bed.
Yin Cong: Don't ask. I regret it very much.
Xiao Ling: Hmm?
Later, everyone in the palace knows that Emperor Qiande keeps a little wildcat in the harem. The little wildcat is sharp-tongued and spoiled, and even the emperor can't do anything about him. Climbing trees one day, catching fish the next, he raises such a racket that the palace is in chaos. The concubines and maids dare not complain, because the little wildcat has the emperor and empress backing him up.
Blurb for the upcoming novel The Little Prince Sent for a Political Marriage:
Yan Yan is the youngest and most cherished son of the Southern Emperor. His mother is Consort Yu, the most favored woman in the palace. In her youth, Consort Yu was a rare beauty, but Yan Yan is even more striking. Though only in his teens, he has already stolen the hearts of every young woman in the imperial city.
People say that a beloved young prince like Yan Yan will surely receive a prosperous fief when he comes of age, live as a carefree prince, marry several lovely concubines, and enjoy a peaceful life. But before he can even come of age, he's tricked into going to the Northern Kingdom for a political marriage. He's to marry the Northern Emperor, who is in his thirties and has children older than Yan Yan, along with a harem full of concubines and male consorts. When the people of the Southern Kingdom hear what has happened to him, they all feel sorry for him.
At first, Yan Yan doesn't know he's being sent to the Northern Kingdom for a political marriage. He thinks it's just an ordinary visit. On the way, he hears that the Northern Emperor is huge and fearsome, and can scare children to tears at night. This piques his interest, until he finally meets the man in person. Yan Yan declares that the rumors must all be lies. The Northern Emperor has striking brows and bright eyes, and looks so powerful that he may be the most imposing man Yan Yan has ever seen.
At first, that's what Yan Yan thinks of the Northern Emperor. Then it dawns on him that he's here to marry him. As the emperor's tall figure looms closer, Yan Yan curls up in the corner of the bed, trembling. He really can scare children to tears at night!
Helian Gao isn't interested at first in the little prince the Southern Kingdom has sent to him for a "political marriage." The Southern Emperor merely begged him to protect Yan Yan, and he agreed to keep the boy for the sake of good relations between their nations. He never expected Yan Yan to learn that he'd been sent to marry the Northern Emperor and cry and beg to go home, like a kitten on the verge of dying. No one can soothe him, so in the end Helian Gao has to humble himself and comfort the boy.
The little prince, raised in the mild southern climate and blessed with soft, delicate skin, quickly adapts to the Northern Kingdom's palace and starts treating it like his own home, doing whatever he pleases. He calls the emperor's sons his brothers, rides horses and practices archery, and teases the emperor's beautiful consorts. The emperor's delicate, tearful concubines come to complain, but Yan Yan never learns his lesson. He even takes advantage of the situation, threatening to go home over the smallest thing and demanding to be coaxed with gentle words.
Later, Helian Gao pinches Yan Yan's cheek and says dismissively, "Such a spoiled brat!"
Yan Yan bares his teeth at him in protest. "You're the one who spoiled me!"
Read Before You Start:
1. The top is an older man and an emperor, and he isn't a virgin! He has a harem, including some harem rivalry (the bottom doesn't have to compete for favor; he's the emperor's only one). After he and the bottom marry, it's one-on-one. The bottom is a young virgin, a spoiled little darling who loves to act cute, and more than a decade younger than the top. The author loves this kind of older top who has seen it all but chooses one person to dote on, so this is a bit of self-indulgence. If this pairing isn't for you, please take note. Respect each other's preferences! Say it with me: Let's agree to disagree!
2. The author is using this melodramatic, sweet, indulgent story to get through a creative slump. There may be a little angst, but overall it's sweet. The top spoils the bottom almost without limits. All sweetness and doting, and that's all there is to it. Logic isn't important!
Other completed novels by the author: Old Man, Young Husband; The Younger Brother-in-Law's Blues; I Do Whatever I Want in the Entertainment Industry; The CEO's Rural Life [Farming]. All feature an older top doting on the bottom. Happy reading!
Theme:
It's sweet, but it's too wordy and the foreshadowing is too long, which makes me feel tired.
