Taming a Little Wildcat

Tong Zhen entered show business as a child because of a photograph and became a household-name child star. Her career went smoothly until she turned eighteen, when she finally saw the dark side of the entertainment industry.

At a dinner party, desperate for protection, she blurted out “Godfather” to Shen Zhizhuo, who happened to be passing by, and finally managed to get away.

They met again at a banquet. Driven by need, Tong Zhen had come to try her luck. She had been keeping a low profile when a producer she knew called out to her:

“Tong Zhen, aren't you going to say hello to your godfather?”

Shen Zhizhuo calmly took a sip of wine and beckoned to her. “Come here.”

Shen Zhizhuo was the youngest son of the Shen family. Rumor had it that after his fiancée left him years ago, he had remained single ever since. Discreet and impeccably respectable, he was the most eligible bachelor in their social circle.

At first, Shen Zhizhuo had simply disapproved of the atmosphere in the entertainment world and happened to rescue Tong Zhen. Tong Zhen bared her teeth. “Who are you calling a cat?!”

Note: The heroine is 159 cm tall, and her height is her eternal sore spot. She's not delicate, but she is proud and stubborn, knows martial arts, has a strong sense of self-respect, and occasionally acts cute. The hero is 189 cm tall and 34 years old. Expect a major height and age gap, a doting father figure who tries to raise her (not very successfully), and a devoted cat dad.

One-on-one romance, both leads are each other's first, but the hero previously had female companions at work events and other functions. The hero and his fiancée never met and had no feelings for each other; it was all rumor. However, the fiancée has another important identity connected to the heroine. The heroine's background is a mystery.
