It's kind of a mix of The Phantom of the Opera + True Blood + A Discovery of Witches setting + a little Twilight setting + a rare HP setting? Honestly, I haven't figured out how to make the True Blood part of the plot work... Anyway, mainly I just want to get with Erik.
Borrowing some elements from Twilight and A Discovery of Witches, along with a few of my own headcanons, the basic idea is that young Christine is a half-turned little vampire, and old Daae takes her around as they live a nomadic life. After old Daae dies, Christine eventually winds up at the opera house. By chance, she discovers that the Phantom of the Opera is her singing teacher, and so on and so forth...
That's basically it. There'll be some original plot, but most of the story will follow the plot of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical, with some parts from the original novel and a little from the 2004 movie. The 25th anniversary version and Fish Face are my first loves, so the original novel's appearance descriptions plus Fish Face's face, maybe?
And the fandom is so tiny and dead! There are hardly any EC fics in China, and EC is so good. Why can't they be together? I could die, but my OTP has to get a happy ending! *shouts*
This is my first story. My writing is awful, and I have no expectations. I started on a burst of inspiration, so the logic may be dead and the plot full of bugs. The characters may be out of character according to my personal interpretation, and updates probably won't be regular. If I've finished the whole thing in my head, I may not feel like updating anymore, ummmmm.
