Igarashi Chihiro is a student at the private Ouran Academy. Her defining trait is...

being a geek.

She's currently in an online relationship with an internet friend.

Her online partner seems to be an all-around athletic genius?

To make sure the relationship goes smoothly, Igarashi Chihiro buys all kinds of romance guides and books of dating formulas...

After doing her homework on romance, Igarashi Chihiro confidently arranges to meet her online partner in person, only for it to turn into a mortifying disaster.

No one told her that the online partner who told her every day how cute she was and how much they wanted to cuddle, before they had even confirmed their relationship, was her (not Futaba) (crossed out) acquaintance!

Igarashi Chihiro's embarrassing past: Before meeting her online partner, she talked big online, then turned into an ostrich the moment they met.

"You look so cool playing ball! The abs showing under your shirt when the wind blows are so hot, prprpr."

"You're so cute. Next time I see you, I'll find an excuse to cuddle you! Nights without cuddles are so lonely!"

"I made a mistake. I love you so much I don't know what to do. When we meet, I want a hug! The kind where you pick me up and spin me around! I want kisses, hugs, and to be held up high!"
