Spoiled and Proud [Showbiz]

Lu Xijin, nicknamed Lu Timid, is as timid as a kitten born prematurely, yet dreams of becoming a world-famous superstar.

In twenty years, the most outrageous thing Lu Timid had ever done was confess to the first person who walked past the private room on her birthday, egged on by her troublemaking friends and emboldened by alcohol.

When the door opened, she was unlucky enough to find Gu Bingchao, the CEO, passing by. His circle had always joked that he was frigid.

With her eyes reddening, Lu Timid spoke in a trembling voice: "I-I like you."

Later, on countless quiet nights, Lu Xijin would blush as she listened again and again to that man murmur hoarsely in her ear: "Xijin, I like you too."

When Lu Xijin first debuted, she was gentle and mild-mannered, and had no idea how many opportunities people had stolen from her, openly or behind her back.

After someone deliberately tripped her up yet again, Lu Timid was so angry her eyes reddened. A secretary summoned her to the CEO's office.

Behind the desk, the impeccably dressed man leisurely loosened his tie. His eyes were deep, and his thin lips parted. "Lu Xijin, do you need me to teach you what it means to take advantage of being loved?"

You are my weakness, so I will be your strongest armor.
