Liao Yan thinks there's something wrong with this fish, but whenever he goes haywire, he blacks out and can't remember what happened.

Fishy Liao Yan puckers his swollen lips and asks Keno, who took him in, "What happened? Why do my lips hurt so much?"

Keno lies without batting an eye. "You bit them yourself."

Fishy Liao Yan lifts his shirt and points at the patches of blue-purple marks on his body. "Then what are these?"

Keno lies again. "You scratched yourself."

After this alpha drank all of his mermaid formula, Fishy Liao Yan stopped believing him quite so readily.

Later, Liao Yan asks his classmates and realizes that his fishy reactions seem to be an omega's sensitive period. If an alpha doesn't mark him, he'll keep feeling awful.

As a weak little omega mermaid, Liao Yan decides to get away from the dangerous alpha, Keno.

But he never expected Keno to tell him, "You can't leave. I've already marked you. You're my omega now."

Fishy Liao Yan nearly lets out a squeak and curses him.

Liao Yan has no choice but to use his human identity to ask Keno to give his mermaid body back.

Keno's response: "I found it fair and square, so it's mine now."

Liao Yan: ...

That very night, Keno posts an update: The mermaid I snatched is prettier than everyone else's.

When Liao Yan sees that Keno's attached picture is one of him as a fish, he feels like he's suffered the greatest injustice of his life.

The mermaid is an adult, but he's a good actor. A fish who knows how to act cute gets to eat well.
