I'm also updating a Conan fanfic next door, Can You Survive in the Detective Conan World by Calling for Backup? Please add it to your favorites. Pairing: Gin.
Feiran was a textbook couch potato in the thirty-first century.
Short and fat, lazy and greedy, with no surviving family and bipolar disorder.
His only virtue might have been his iron will. As the saying goes, a dying pig doesn't fear boiling water.
So he could never understand, even on his deathbed, why some so-called Marshal System had chosen him.
Feiran looked over the checklist, where running thirty thousand meters was just a warm-up, and sneered. "Give it up. You could kill me and I still wouldn't do your damn missions!"
System: "...Heh."
Neither of them would back down or compromise. Until one day, the System sent him to the First Marshal's homecoming ceremony.
Feiran hid in a corner and glanced over casually. Just like that, he was completely smitten.
He clutched his wildly beating heart. "W-what a devious scheme!"
At first, he only wanted to get a little closer to that person. A little closer.
So he lost some weight.
He enrolled at the school that person had attended.
He worked out,
and got himself a squad.
He tried his best,
and recruited the idol he adored, who was undercover in disguise, into his squad.
Feiran: Hm? Is something not quite right here?
Then monsters invaded, and the nation was in peril.
Everyone had to go to the battlefield to defend their country.
He went too,
and ended up with his idol in his arms, the world saved, and the System's mission completed along the way. He had reached the pinnacle of life.
System: How can you call me an afterthought?!
Reader Warning:
The protagonist never becomes a successful leader in the conventional sense. Please be aware. Also, the golden finger is probably pretty powerful. If you don't like the long-winded early chapters about his inner growth, you can start from Chapter 46.
I'm also updating a story set at a Star Academy, an anything-goes, wild-imagination novel, Can You Survive in the Detective Conan World by Calling for Backup?, pairing: Gin.
As a ragdoll cat demon, Jinguji Yuki was born stubborn.
But what could a kitty possibly do wrong?
After winning a whole crowd of admirers with his fluffy fur and paw pads, he bid farewell to the bigwigs and prepared to go down the mountain to gain experience. Then, through no fault of his own, he was struck by lightning and arrived in a world that was both familiar and strange.
W-well, no big deal. Conquering (causing trouble in) one place is no different from conquering (causing trouble in) another!
So, after getting caught up in a poisoning case, an arson case, and a string of murders, Yuki had just escaped an eight-bomb crisis when he quietly took that thought back.
He reluctantly pulled out his Kunpeng-brand phone and went online, only to discover that he wasn't just anywhere: he was in the famously unscientific Detective Conan world.
And it was the version where everyone got a bad ending.
He was the shared white moonlight of both the Red and Black factions, the character whose name appeared most often in people's dying words, and had earned the achievement [Funeral Before First Meeting, Alive Only in Dialogue].
Jinguji Yuki raised an eyebrow and smiled.
He was, after all, a dignified cat demon. If he followed the script even one step, he'd lose.
...Close the door, pull cards, call for backup! Call in the bigwigs!
Taotie, still wolfing down food / Jiudiao, in the middle of learning to swim by diving in / and a bunch of other fearsome beasts, all slacking off: ?
PS:
1. Lots of original settings, original villains, and out-of-character behavior. The beginning is slow-paced, with lots of setup, so you can save up chapters and see whether you like it.
2. The five-person group gets revived.
3. The author isn't very smart, the cases are simple, the scenarios are all over the place, and the tech level keeps reaching new heights.
4. Secret identity story, identities are never exposed.
Theme: Behind every tiny change lie immense pain and effort. Success is no coincidence, but the inevitable result of thousands upon thousands of small changes.
Hahahahahahahahahaha beautiful
I don't know why, in such a heartbreaking scene, when I saw what Wei Chenshuo said, I suddenly burst out laughing.
Hahahaha, of course, you are not together yet, so you are acting like a gangster, hahahaha
The one who survived must be Ran Ran's brother. I feel so sorry for you. Stupid me
Ahhhh!! Am I crying?! So distressed?
Come on, A Fei!!!! ... I don't remember. That's fine. That way it won't be so painful. We Afi deserve to be treated with tenderness.

The young lady from the institute is trembling
The researcher lady is so miserable
It made me laugh so much that 23333 water went into my brain hahahahahahahahaha
