After a Dragon Loses a Fight

Please add it to your reading list, mwah!

Shen Lu is a troublemaking dragon in his rebellious phase. After losing a gang fight, he lost one of his growing horns. He thought he looked so ugly he couldn't bear to go home, and finally remembered his supposedly formidable fiance, whom he'd forgotten about. He packed his bags and went to ask him for help.

Xie Lihuan is a black jiao, brutal by nature and foul-tempered. After inheriting the Demon Palace from his father, he spends his days throwing tantrums in the palace, attending school for a few days each year, and getting bad grades. He's the textbook definition of a truant teenager.

Then a boy even more arrogant than him showed up, saying he was waiting in the main hall.

Shen Lu took his true form, flopped down on the ground with a fierce look, and refused to leave. "Hey! I'm the fiance you were supposed to marry but never did. I lost a dragon horn in a fight, so you have to help me find it!"

Xie Lihuan: "Say again, who are you?"

After mooching off him for food and lodging for a while, Shen Lu suddenly realized he'd come to the wrong person. His fiance was called Xie Lihuan, not Xie Lihuan with a different character in his name. He was a black dragon, while this guy was a demon jiao. They weren't even the same species.

Shen Lu: "Sorry to bother you. Dragons and jiao can't fall in love. Maybe we'll meet again someday."

Xie Lihuan: "Hah."
