The Little Tree Spirit Came to the City and Got Carried Away

[Written in 2018, when the author had just started writing and the plot logic was a mess. It's really not good, so consider yourself warned. Don't click in to read it.]

Lu Yuqiang was sickly as a child. A fortune-teller said he was lacking wood in his destiny, so his mother had him acknowledge an ancient tree in their courtyard as his godfather. He spent every day tending to it, trimming branches and leaves, chasing off bugs, and whispering to it, until he turned ten.

After that, his father made it big in business, and the whole family moved to a big city. Their old house was left empty for a while.

A few years later, the young master, now a big star in the entertainment industry, returned home for a rare visit. When he opened the door, he saw a fair-skinned, clean-cut young boy sitting on a stone bench in the courtyard, idly swinging his feet. The moment the boy saw him, he ran into his arms, crying and calling out in a soft voice, "My son, you're finally back to visit your godfather! I'm so happy! I'll go make you dinner right now. What's with your hair color? Have you been led astray out there?"

The little tree spirit clenched his fists, overcome with indignation.

Lu Yuqiang: "!"

Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop! Who's your son?!

Later, everyone in the entertainment industry knew that the handsome young boy who was always following the young master around was his father. He was incredibly good at fortune-telling, could fight, and was loved by everyone.

Lu Yuqiang couldn't defend himself no matter what he said.

A few key points:

1. A sweet little story, authentic and guaranteed.

2. The author is desperate to clarify that they aren't related by blood!

Please add my next danmei novel to your reading list: One Million to Leave My Younger Brother

The coolest thing Lin Guangguang ever did was show up with a check after learning his younger brother had gotten a clingy boyfriend. "Here's ten million. Leave my brother."

The guy's name was Tang Que. He was ridiculously good-looking, but had a sharp tongue. "I'll give you twenty million to get him to stop clinging to me. I don't look anything like his ex-boyfriend."

Lin Guangguang got chewed out. His friend took him to a bar to cheer him up, and then a man who looked a bit like Tang Que came over. Drunk, Lin Guangguang went up to reason with him, and they ended up fighting.

The next day, he realized they'd been fighting in bed, and he fled the hotel on his hands and knees.

A few months later, his belly started to swell.

"I gained weight from eating," he explained to everyone. "Don't get the wrong idea. I ate eight eggs today."

He kept explaining until he got to Tang Que, who actually believed him.

Mr. Tang: "Another day of not knowing I'm going to be a father." [Wry smile]
