An Atypical Supernatural Creature

"Every creature in the world knows vampires are a bunch of lazy freeloaders!" "That's racial discrimination!" Racial discrimination is not okay! A modern alternate-universe New York City, and the various atypical supernatural beings hiding within it. (Also known as: Where Can I Find the Magic Spring?) Things are not what they used to be. Supernatural beings who once looked down on humans without limit have ultimately had to submit to their advanced civilization. A clean-obsessed werewolf with severe OCD is despairing over always drawing the werewolf role whenever he plays Werewolf. A hunter who develops a split personality depending on whether the day is odd or even has never managed a successful hunt. The unloved Medusa is gradually turning into a sharp-tongued middle-aged woman. The invisible man who keeps sending letters to the newspaper's advice column has finally earned the reputation of a "big sister who understands your troubles." Having blended into human society and become wage slaves, supernatural beings are still jealous of werewolves and their "naked running holiday," which comes like clockwork once a month. The Cheshire Cat isn't as fond of smiling as the stories say, and not every mermaid can cry pearls. But the elves who are obsessed with wild, over-the-top hairstyles really do like being called Cupids. The typical supernatural beings who lived in seclusion are long gone. Only vampires, after all these years, still want to be lazy shut-ins. Today, too, is a day of endless fun for the supernatural beings. 1. A sun-proof vampire, hot-blooded rookie cop vs. an elf who loves flashy hairstyles, an offbeat punk. 2. A contemporary romance dressed up in a fantasy and supernatural wrapper. 3. There may be male-male or female-female couples. A draft can be found in my collection, The Moon's Cratered Surface of Ideas.
