[Chainsaw Man] A Leaf Heralds Autumn

Demon contracts come in many forms. But if a human carries out a contract spoken by a demon, the demon must abide by it, or die.

What a demon demands in a deal might be your eyes, your arms, your ears, your hearing, your sense of taste, your sense of smell, or even your sense of touch.

But sometimes a demon wants something else from you, such as...

"I want your love. All of it."

The demon, said to be one of the origins of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, deliberately said this to the man before her.

A few things to know before reading:

1. Aki pairing. The "love" in this story may have other meanings mixed in, and may not be called "romance," but this bond can certainly be called "love."

2. The heroine is "Death," one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, a high-ranking demon on the same level as the Control Devil in the New Testament. Details about my original additions to the setting will be explained in the author's notes at the end. This story does not focus on power rankings (in other words, power levels will not be discussed), but the heroine is one of the strongest characters in the story.

※ 3. The opening scene was inspired by Chapter 31 of the original, when Aki was about to make a contract with a powerful devil. I butterfly-effected away Aki's future devil.

4. This story includes a little material outside the original storyline: content from a parallel-world version of Katekyo Hitman Reborn (a world without the Tri-ni-sette, rings, pacifiers, Mare Rings, or Checker Face). It touches briefly on something between the heroine and the First Generation Vongola family. Not much, really, just a tiny bit. This is a Chainsaw Man fanfic, so the focus is naturally on Chainsaw Man.

5. There will definitely be OOC characterization and original additions. Fanfiction exists because of the regrets people have about the original work. If it's not for you, feel free to click away.

6. When I started writing this, Chainsaw Man Part 2 had only reached Chapter 4. Any later developments in the original involving the Four Horsemen have nothing to do with this story. (As long as I update fast enough, TBS can't catch up and prove me wrong!)
