※It's good practice to read the entry notes before starting. If you skip the author's warnings and then complain, that's on you.
※The entire story is already written, so read with confidence. This is a plot-focused story. The romance doesn't really pick up until Volume Two.
Blurb:
An urban legend: the Headless Horseman.
Come to think of it, Kamen Rider is an urban legend too.
Which means
Zero Seven: Got it! That yellow-helmeted motorcycle rider is this world's Kamen Rider senior!
Zero Seven thinks this conclusion makes perfect sense. He's a Rider! He rides a motorcycle! How could he not be Kamen Rider?
Zero Seven: Hey, Kamen Rider senior over there, wait up!
Sis: ...Kamen Rider? (points at herself, bewildered) Me?
※Note: The blurb only covers a short section from the first few chapters. The main story of Volume One is Re:Creators. Volume Two moves into the new world of Kamen Rider Build, and the old world's story is practically nonexistent.
Maybe I'll write a bonus story about the old world if I have time? (Well, that's just an empty promise, so don't get your hopes up.)
Before You Read:
1. Couple: Kiryu Sento.
2. Plot-focused.
The title alone tells you this is a story brimming with righteous energy, where good triumphs over evil.
This story isn't very kind to the villains. If you're a villain fan of Re:Creators, Demon Slayer, or Naruto who thinks the villains should beat the heroes, you can stop here.
The female lead is an original Rider. She was a human experiment from the Naruto world. In my version, chakra is also a kind of extraterrestrial energy, and can directly power the transformation device to turn her into a Rider. The Fullbottles she carries were specially made by Sento, and aren't from Pandora's Box.
3. The author is currently catching up on other tokusatsu Rider shows. So far, I've only watched all of Build, and I'm not an expert in this area. If that bothers you, don't read this. (I've only written anime fanfiction before, after all.) Kamen Rider is a niche fandom on JJ, and the author knows that. I wrote this because Rabbit is just too cute, and I like him so much that I wanted to write this. You could say it's just for me.
4. A warning in advance: in my story, Kamen Rider follows the heart, not the numbers. (All right, I'll admit it: I can't remember those stats about how many tons they can lift or how high they can jump. Stares up at the sky.jpg.) But I think tokusatsu is mainly about the spectacle. The stats are just there to look at.
※5. It may not be an all-star free-for-all, but there's still plenty of chaos. To take the story where it needs to go, important original characters will appear. And to build up the story as a whole, there will be a long stretch of setup involving other supporting characters. Also, since this isn't primarily a romance, Sento will have very little screen time during the Re:Creators world, for reasons explained in the story.
Actually, I originally wanted to change the point of view to an unspecified one, because this story isn't told only from the female lead's perspective.
But most people, whether they're watching anime, films, or reading novels, always ask, "Where's the protagonist?" (Re:Creators is a typical ensemble story where viewers are always asking where the protagonist is. Actually, it's not really an ensemble story either. Mizushino Sota should be called a behind-the-scenes worker, but viewers keep calling him a background-character protagonist.)
I'm not a protagonist-focused reader. More than who the protagonist is or whether the art style is good, I care about whether the plot is good. If the story is good, there's nothing I can't read.
But JJ rejected even this "unspecified" point of view... Sigh. I should've just added an ensemble perspective tag, even though my story isn't an ensemble piece.
_(:зゝ∠)_
If any of the above bothers you, read with caution.
I've made my position clear. If someone still complains later... that's your problem, not mine.
6. This is a spur-of-the-moment practice piece I wrote because I fell for Rabbit. My writing is definitely not that good. The original belongs to its author, and any out-of-character writing is on me. It's not entirely faithful to the original setting, and there are many original elements. If you're okay with all that, let's enjoy the story together.
Finally
※This isn't a demand, just a humble request.
Could you please not leave a rating after I finish this book? I really hate JJ's rating system. Once, I finished a free short story in one go. The word count, chapters, and blurb all made it clear that it was a free short story.
Then someone gave it two stars for an unreasonable reason. I was so angry that I filed complaints with JJ over and over, but they did nothing. Now all I can do is block the review so I don't have to see it. I'm at a loss. (Collapses, exhausted.jpg.)
Theme: What's wrong with fighting for love and peace?
