A Deep Dive into the Web Novel World's Unspoken Rules

In the world of web novels, the winds of change blow and heroes live by their own code.

There are countless demons who kill without batting an eye, and thousands upon thousands of chivalrous swordsmen who roam the world in the name of justice;

there is obsessive love that lasts a lifetime, and there is the fickleness of heartless lovers;

there is the bustling mortal world, and there is the quiet of the monastery;

and above all, there are the laws of the Great Dao, which has no form.

Everything above is fake.

The truth is below.

In the world of web novels, the winds of change blow and keep on blowing;

the Yangtze's waves behind drive on those before, but the old waves refuse to die on the shore. The new waves chase after them with all their might, only to obediently cling to the old waves' thighs in the end.

There are countless villains doing everything they can to get themselves killed, and thousands upon thousands of righteous protagonists;

there is the obsessive devotion of readers stuck at the bottom of a dropped story, waiting for an update, and the fickleness of readers who abandon a novel and go looking for a new one;

there are authors who write ten thousand words a day, and authors who take things easy;

and above all, there is the (typing) Great (words) Dao (at the cost of one's) Formless (life) Law (of) Truth.

Please note:

1. Updates are irregular. This is a side project.

2. No CP, and the relationships are a mess.

3. Silly everyday life, not about real people. Just for a laugh.

4. Although it is tagged as modern, it may feature any historical era. =v=

5. Please don't come after me because this story updated while the original author didn't... :D

6. If you really do come after me, then I'll... never mind, you can't catch me. :D
