Even the Elves Are Broke Today

Blurb:

The high elf Elsoya is a maverick among high elves.

Unfortunately, he's unlucky and poor.

It's all thanks to his profession.

He's neither a nature mage nor an archer or warrior. He's a bard, the sort who carries a little harp everywhere and can't stop admiring his own beauty.

How do ordinary bards do their job when traveling with a party? They praise the party's mage, praise its warrior, and basically shower the whole group with compliments.

Elsoya praises himself with extravagant flair. When he praises others, he runs out of words and accomplishes nothing.

Time to run, time to run, time to run, or his teammates will kill him.

Still, Elsoya wants to prove that he's useful.

So today, he's going to praise that legendary saint who always manages to turn danger into safety.

Saint: Great. I'm unlucky again.

Unlucky E-rank high elf uke x younger seme saint who seems innocent but is secretly ruthless

Please note:

1. This isn't traditional Western fantasy, and it mixes different elements.

2. The high elf has a bit of a savior complex, but he's not completely stupid.

3. Don't overthink it. Just remember that whatever the author says is right [doge].

4. The currency is explained in the author's note of Chapter One.
