Synopsis

(My next novel will be Waiting for Daybreak.) My love story is a cliché. My boyfriend was my childhood friend, classmate, deskmate, and first love. We started out as the closest of bros. After we became adults, he confessed to me, and we naturally went from friends to lovers. We broke up when we graduated from high school. There was no third party and no betrayal. We just reached a crossroads in life and took different paths. After we broke up, he stayed here to study, while I went abroad. It’s been five years... and sixteen days since that day. I’m back in the country. Content Warnings: 1. First-person narration. (I’ve wanted to write in first person for ages, and that urge has been growing lately. I couldn’t hold back any longer, so I decided to indulge myself.) 2. A short story, an everyday slice-of-life chronicle about rekindling an old flame. The cliché is that we were always meant to be together. 3. Very cliché. Extremely cliché. 4. Sentimental. Extremely sentimental. 5. There’s a little entertainment industry content, but not much. Personal Reading Log

A personal archive, not recommendations. My attempt to dig up hidden gems was a total flop. I like couples who dote on each other (emphasis on that), with just a tiny, tiny preference for the top.

An 8-Year Jinjiang BL Reader’s Treasure Trove

Even shoe soles tossed with Wang Shouyi's Thirteen-Spice seasoning would taste great. The list mostly features: melodrama, rival enemies, wealthy families, modern urban settings, and futuristic fantasy.

I’m So Here for These Couples, I’m So Here for Them

I'm a pure-hearted product of sisterhood, not a shipper for one side or the other, so please steer clear if you're a partisan :) My dream is to enjoy every adorable couple under the sun. I put these stories here because they're absolutely beloved.

A roundup of stories with promising blurbs that I'm sampling. I'm strict with my ratings, while the general standard is more generous. These are the kind of stories some people will find triggering and others will enjoy.
