This Isn't Right

Lu Ning has a secret: he's been able to understand animals ever since he was born.

After graduating from college, he applies for a job at a zoo and becomes an animal keeper, only to discover that the animals have two sides to them.

The black bear, supposedly aloof and antisocial, and recommended for solitary confinement: "Waaah, I really want to play with everyone, but I can't get out. Scratching at the fence, so lonely qwq."

The big cat, supposedly sweet and adorable, hailed by fans as a healing little angel: "I, the chuuni demon king, am plotting a rebellion. Do not disturb. (Already turned evil.)"

The green peacock, supposedly cool, quiet, and taciturn: "Aaaah, somebody talk to me! I really want to talk! If I can't talk to anyone soon, I'll go crazy!"

Of all the animals, Lu Ning had never once heard his favorite white lion speak.

He'd thought the lion was mute, until one day Lu Ning woke from a dream and heard the white lion's voice for the first time.

"He's so cute. I want to..."

The low, slightly hoarse voice sounded exactly like the arranged-marriage partner who always looked at him strangely.
