Crossing Rivers by Boat

At North City No. 65 High School, Jiang He is the school's undisputed bully. Wherever he goes, nothing is left standing. He has a terrible temper and hates studying. His favorite thing is swaggering around with his gang and causing trouble. The only thing he has going for him is his face. That is, until Pei Chuanzhou transfers to No. 65 High School. The complete opposite of Jiang He, Pei Chuanzhou is gentle, excels at school, and is so good-looking that he becomes the darling of students and teachers alike as soon as he arrives. But Jiang He knows what Pei Chuanzhou is really like. On the first day of school, Jiang He sees with his own eyes how Pei Chuanzhou kicks a man so hard he coughs up blood, in the alley Jiang He often takes as a shortcut. And the culprit just smiles at him. “You won't tell anyone, will you?” Pei Chuanzhou asks as he wipes his silver-rimmed glasses. Jiang He's forehead is slick with cold sweat. All he can do is nod. * Everyone at No. 65 High School thinks Jiang He is bullying the new transfer student, making Pei Chuanzhou carry books and desks, and bring him water and snacks. They all feel indignant, but no one dares speak up. Only Jiang He knows how Pei Chuanzhou pins him down and holds him in the woods. “Xiao He, do you like it?” Pei Chuanzhou chuckles in his ear. Jiang He can only nod again. “A boat can only sail on water.” “I can only feel alive when I'm with my little river.” Jiang He, who dares to be angry but not speak up: Screw you. P.S. 1. The top is a psycho. The bottom is a genuinely timid hoodlum, the sort who'd be cannon fodder in any other campus novel. 2. Timid hoodlum bottom x refined scoundrel, campus heartthrob top. 3. I'm not sure what the potential triggers are, so feel free to add them. Theme: Everyone is equal, with no one inherently better or worse than anyone else. The bottom and the top go from misunderstanding and loathing each other to falling in love and growing together. Everyone deserves to be loved.
