Have You Seen My Shadow?

Last time, this was supposed to be a story available for pre-order, but I accidentally published it instead, so I had to move it somewhere else…

If you're interested, please add it to your collection again. Mwah!

He was an ordinary guy studying for the civil service exam, until he accidentally discovered that he seemed to have switched on something incredible.

His blanket kicked him. His phone watched livestreams on its own. His TV kept up with current affairs.

But the most troubling thing was…

His shadow had come alive.

The protagonist, with a perfectly serious face: Excuse me, sir, have you seen my shadow?

The seme: I heard that shadows have tastes and preferences opposite to their owners'.

The uke: ???

The seme: Th-then my shadow must have hated you ever since the first time it saw you. ?(????ω????)?

Note:

This story shares the world and character settings of the author's quick transmigration novel, The Old Cadre's Guide to Tormenting Scumbags, where all things possess spirits. I'll start this one after finishing that quick transmigration story, though the plot will be different.

After thinking it over, I decided I should roll around and act cute to beg for pre-orders.

So…

Rolling around, rolling around!
