A young Alpha general was widowed in the prime of her life. Since her late wife adored roses, she carefully cultivated a rose garden.

The roses thrived, their pink blooms spreading across half the stars, all the result of her devoted care.

Then one day, every rose in the garden withered overnight.

She hurried home from a meeting, only to find a naked girl standing among the withered roses.

The girl looked at her haughtily, her attitude arrogant and her tone disdainful.

"Are you the servant who's been attending to me all this time?"

"Since you've taken such good care of me, I'll allow you to stay by my side."

Everyone saw the Alpha general clench her fists and assumed she was about to charge forward and challenge the girl to a duel. After all, they all knew how much their general loved her roses.

But, to their surprise, the general slowly unclenched her fists and walked toward the girl with reverence and devotion.

She went down on one knee and offered her own cloak, wrapping the girl up so thoroughly that not a glimpse of her snowy-white skin remained.

"As you command, my dear princess."

She had waited for her for far too long.

The two of them wondered whether some mistake had been made during the assignment process. Why else would two Alphas be paired together?

1. The recipient used to be a Beta. During the war, the Alliance secretly gave hormones to a group of test subjects to secure victory, changing their physiology and making them believe they were Alphas. In reality, the change affected only their physical strength and appearance, not their nature, so they can still get pregnant. The recipient was one of the test subjects!

2. The recipient thinks she's the one in control and considers flirting perfectly natural, but when she's topped, she cries her eyes out!

3. There are a few mecha, but not many. The focus is on the slow-blooming relationship between the two.

4. This story combines ABO and sentinel-guide elements, with lots of original worldbuilding, but everything will be explained in turn, so it won't be hard to follow. Feel free to give it a try!
