Encounter

[Blurb]

After five invitations, Ns Network, the industry radio station that could get any celebrity it wanted, finally managed to interview the music scene's youngest and most acclaimed female songwriter.

She's very low-key. She doesn't attend music award shows or walk red carpets, accept interviews, or perform at commercial events, but her songwriting is undeniably brilliant! Her songs are classics, and she's beautiful enough to make it in show business too. She's a captivating legend in the industry.

On the day of the interview, the editor-in-chief served her tea and snacks and waited on her personally. As they wrapped up, he persistently asked why she'd turned them down the previous times.

Lu Xiao: I have a side job, and sometimes it's inconvenient to do interviews.

Editor-in-chief: So there were one or two other times when you had a different reason?

She smiled. Yeah, I was busy dating.

He asked excitedly: Was it the person caught kissing you in a car by foreign media last time, the one described as especially handsome and dashing, with a mysterious identity?

Lu Xiao took a sip of tea and smiled again, but said nothing.

Editor-in-chief: So what made you agree to come this time?

Lu Xiao: He said Ns was his company, so I should do him a favor. And, well, don't include that part in the recording.

???

A beguiling musician, and someone who always claims to be far away overseas but is actually holding roses just outside her door.
