Why Go to the Western Paradise?

Here's how the story goes. There are two main characters, A and B.

A has no redeeming qualities apart from a name that makes people laugh (though I don't know if getting into graduate school through a special recommendation counts as a talent). B is incredibly handsome and has amazing demon-slaying skills (he's a stunning cross-dresser).

A's talents are being easily riled up and making a fuss over everything (for example, shrieking when a corpse suddenly bursts out of a toilet stall. He's so irrational. Unlike me, the author, who's very calm. It's not my corpse, after all).

B's talent is... being laid-back? (For example, if he doesn't marry A, a curse will kill his entire family. He calmly tells his father that it's all fate, and they might as well all die together and ascend to immortality.)

The main plot is that B's family has been cursed, so B has to marry A and sign a marriage contract to keep his family alive. Then he and A set off to find the scumbag who wants his whole family dead.

Of course, they find him pretty quickly, only to discover that things aren't so simple after all... (Well, you know the sort of plot.)

A's ancestors were incredibly powerful, but their descendants failed to live up to them. By A's generation, he had become a nobody (does being good at school count for anything?). After he and B fake their marriage to fool the gods, his bloodline awakens. But instead of becoming incredibly powerful, he develops a terrifying constitution that attracts evil spirits. So, you know, let's all hold a moment of silence for him.

If we have to assign top and bottom roles, then it's probably:

Easily riled-up, seemingly useless top who bleeds to save people at critical moments X laid-back bottom who sees through life and death, is incredibly powerful, and is enthusiastically preparing to ascend to immortality

Because I'm not planning to write any steamy scenes, hahaha!
