Tales of an Interstellar Farm

Do you know how to build a city on a planet?

First create an atmosphere, then guide the ocean currents and bring life to the soil. Sow seeds, plant hope in people's hearts, and nurture civilization.

For more than eight hundred years, humanity has used this method to open up countless barren planets across the universe.

Bai Xiaonuan, who studies mechanical engineering on the Capital Planet, wants to return to his barren home on the frontier and help everyone at the farm develop it. But his golden-boy boyfriend cannot understand him, so they break up. Then, on the day he finishes a classified project, he discovers that someone who looks exactly like him has taken his place beside the person he loves, while that person has no idea.

1. A feel-good power fantasy, with a few love-triangle showdowns between plot developments.

2. The female lead is focused on her career. There's plenty of worldbuilding and plot centered on infrastructure development and soft science fiction. I'll do my best to make it plausible and interesting.

3. A wish-fulfillment story with a little angst, but no melodramatic tropes. The love-triangle showdowns follow the main story, and whoever ends up winning is whoever wins.

Theme: Stay true to yourself in poverty, and don't let wealth lead you astray. Technology creates a new era, and beauty grows alongside everyday life.
