[Western Crossover] This World Is Doomed

A quick plug for another story, "[Western Crossover] What If Life Let You Down?" The heroine grows throughout the story, and the heroines I write are never weak. :) For the first 23 years of her life, Jessie had been a serious foodie. So when she got this System, she figured it had to have it in for her. It made her feel the world's bone-deep malice. Don't get the wrong idea. It really was malice. That's right. Ever since Jessie got bound to the System, malice has been the only thing she can eat. Looking at plate after plate of delicious food whose taste she can no longer savor, she feels nothing but despair. So naturally, she turns evil. Jessie "Big Boss" Ransier: "The heroes are under my protection. Anyone looking for trouble? I'll send my boys to knock your teeth out." Magneto (proudly): "Excellent. That's my daughter, all right. She knows how to put on a show, just like me." Lorna, Wanda, and Pietro: "That's my sister, all right. :)" The superheroes: "Can someone save the Ransier family's moral compass? I can't thank this family enough. These days, every villain is quiet as a mouse. They hear the name Ransier and run for the hills." Little Spider-Man hesitates. Magneto glances over, and Peter "Life Is in Peril" Parker declares righteously, "I think the Ransier family's values are pretty... normal." (He swallows with difficulty.) The girl starts out timid, but gradually changes. Trust me, her ultimate form won't disappoint. :) After all, she's Magneto's daughter. She can't let the family lose face! Not having seen Supergirl won't affect your reading much. Here's the straightforward version: Lin Xiao, a modern woman, transmigrates into the role of Superman's older cousin, Supergirl, the Kryptonian Kara Zor-El. She gradually grows into someone capable of shouldering her responsibilities, teaming up with a bunch of superheroes to take down some adorable little villains. The real version: When Lin Xiao first becomes Kara Zor-El, she really does try to run away from it all. But even without Supergirl, things still happen. Planes still crash, and villains still try to destroy the Earth. And this world has both the Justice League and the Avengers. Kara figures she can just focus on protecting people and minimizing casualties. As for being a hero and fighting villains, that's what the professionals are for. Yeah, right. Kara, you wish. The Infinity Stones will show you what happens when you slack off and shirk your duties. Besides... someone's out there working for world peace. Don't you feel guilty for slacking off?
