A Rousing Case for the Nation

Weibo: @Jinjiang Tuige When Fang Shifei was a junior official in the Ministry of Revenue, everyone who rubbed her the wrong way ended up being investigated and punished for corruption. After Fang Shifei was promoted to Vice Minister of Revenue, everyone she couldn't stand ended up being investigated and punished for corruption. The Minister of Revenue was at his wits' end. He hooked an arm around the Imperial Censor's shoulder and said, “Lord Censor, I have a brilliant investigator in my department. Meticulous, and widely read. Why not transfer her to your office?” ...And so the entire court found harmony at last. Now for a proper blurb: A severe drought strikes Jiangnan, leaving the land strewn with corpses. A heavy snowfall buries tens of thousands of starving people. Beneath the pure white snow lie stinking, rotting bodies, while blood and tears seep into every grain of sand across the empire. In a hazy scene from a dream, I have seen the magnificent canals of the capital, the bustling trade routes along ancient roads, and a world of peace and prosperity, alive with song and dance. That is what the splendid land of Great Qin should be. I would gladly offer my life for the emperor, and devote all my strength to the realm. An alternate world! A story about rising from humble beginnings to serve in government and building a prosperous nation through economic reform. A woman disguises herself as a man. As the old saying goes, once she dresses as a man, she really does look like one. No exceptions are considered. The male lead is Lin Xingyuan. Please ship them, I beg you. Give my romance plot a little dignity. I swear this isn't a romance story tacked on as a side plot, trust me! All classical passages in quotation marks are cited, as are all the poems and lyrics. Theme: A prosperous nation and a strong people
