[Touken Ranbu] Kashuu Kiyomitsu Doesn't Want to Shatter

As an author, I sincerely hope you'll read the synopsis: -- Kaga Kiyomitsu is one miserable kid. He inexplicably went to sleep and woke up as a sword. He inexplicably became a sword spirit and was locked in one place for five years. At long last, a master who treasured him and spoke to him gave him a new outfit. Then, while completing a mission, his master suffered an attack and Kiyomitsu's blade was broken at Ikedaya. Just when he thought he'd finally died, some organization called the Time Government appeared out of nowhere, told him he had become a tsukumogami, and put him to work for the government. Oh, and for free. Excuse me? Is there anyone... er, any sword more miserable than me? Looking at the wound where his blade had broken, he silently wrapped a red scarf around himself. Then he picked up the hilt of his broken blade, which was now shorter than a tantou, from his own palm... I hope this new master will take good care of me. The red uchigatana was restored as good as new. Its crimson eyes lowered to look at its current Saniwa. He remembered what had happened back then. A boy dressed in pale blue wielded his blade and charged at the enemy, but his frail body left him open to a sneak attack that sent him crashing to the ground. His body broke. It hurt so much. He never wanted to feel that again. It hurt so much. And he was left in pieces. His eyes unfocused, the boy in simple clothes collapsed onto the floor of Ikedaya after his sword broke. His eyes met those of the boy dressed in pale blue. His clothes were in tatters and he was in terrible shape, but he still endured that nearly heart-piercing pain. Looking at him, the boy's mouth moved, as if he were trying to say something. [Live well, okay, Okita--] [I never want to feel that pain again.] -- Everything above is just my imagination. Don't take it as part of the actual story. [A warning from the dumbass author] -- Thanks to Graffiti Paradise for making the cover for free.
