[Touken Ranbu] The Loser

With a name that practically screams "failure," Bai Zhe still finds life deeply frustrating, even after all these years.

"You are the worst batch I've ever seen!" he once roared at them as a government employee. "How can just anyone be recruited as a Saniwa?!"

After his poor, battered heart had taken one too many blows, he chose to step back and become a laid-back Saniwa in charge of logistics.

But that wasn't the end of the story. Things were about to get even worse...

"Here, this is the sword you forged today. Please take it." The swordsmith held out the freshly forged tachi.

Bai Zhe touched it without much hope.

Then he watched helplessly as the sword turned into the fiftieth cat in his citadel.

...This is infuriating.

He's a dog person!

Thanks to A Long for helping with the cover. Just tossing this story out there, hehe.
