The Emperor Is Calling

The title is inspired by the second national radio calisthenics routine, The Times Are Calling.

Shan Ying was just a little palace maid, spending every day hoping to coast along, skim enough money, and leave the palace. Then, all of a sudden, the emperor began summoning her every night...

Shan Ying: I really don't want to become the emperor! QAQ

Emperor Chongzheng: You think I do? Every night I have to wear a skirt and sleep on a shared bunk with a bunch of palace maids... This is driving me mad!

The male and female leads swap bodies. A lighthearted comedy.
