The Qing Dynasty Criminal Investigation Bureau

*This is an alternate-universe story that only borrows the setting and has been heavily adapted. The world itself is a parallel universe resembling a comic-book setting, so please refer to the two leads on the cover for the hairstyles of all adult men in this story. Let's keep the discussion civil, no ship wars. Image credit: Thanks to @Mo Tu-L-Brownie for creating this out of love. "The sunset melts like gold, the evening clouds meet like jade. "Because neither you nor the land can be missing." Please note: 1. [Partially fictional] A new take on a strange case, with a heavily adapted world. This is a parallel-universe detective story that does not draw on any real historical figures. 2. An ancient crime scene investigation story with Qing-dynasty criminal psychology. All sorts of incredible, indescribable events will occur. 3. Many of the ancient folk tales in the story are fabricated, but this is neither historical nihilism nor frivolous historical fiction. The methods used to commit crimes are all reasonable and based on the cases. The author's deductive skills are amateur, and I don't have the brains to research historical details.
