The General's Beloved Little Foodie

Zhong Ting was ordered to attack an enemy state, but his campaign got off to a bad start, and he was captured by the enemy crown prince, Qin Su.

In the crown prince’s palace, Qin Su looked at the young general and ordered a bowl of almond cream to be brought over. Smiling, he asked, “Want some?”

Zhong Ting puffed out his cheeks. “Hmph! A true man cannot be tempted by fine food and wine. Kill me or torture me as you please.”

Qin Su stifled a laugh. “If you don’t want that, it’s fine. I also have bird’s nest porridge, sweet milk pudding, stove-god candy, red date cakes...” With each item he named, a servant brought it out.

Zhong Ting watched the dishes appear one after another and couldn’t help swallowing.

Late at night, Qin Su looked down at the young general beneath him and whispered in his ear, “Is it good?”

Zhong Ting bit his lip. “You, you beast...”

Zhong Ting loves fine horses, fine bows, and good food. Before he knows it, he’s become someone else’s feast.
