(Transmigration) The Fox Bride

Short blurb: The ancient world wasn't all that simple. This version of antiquity has monsters. A music producer who grew up studying traditional folk instruments, then switched to pop music to make ends meet, transmigrates to an ancient world inhabited by monsters and makes a fortune selling songs. Long blurb: Music producer Yu Wei unfortunately falls into the ancient world. She first "lands" beside a fox den, where the old woman living inside takes her in. Just as she's settled into a comfortable life with food and tea, she's told she has to go on matchmaking dates with a pack of wolves. Did she hear that right? Matchmaking with wolves! The old woman tells her with a smile, "That's right, it happens every six months. The babies born will be either wolves or foxes. If it's you, then your child will be either a wolf or a human. The wolf clan is powerful, so it's really a matter of choosing or being chosen. If they choose you, you can't refuse." To avoid having one of those strange and terrifying "babies", that's right! She's only used to hearing the normal human phrase "have a child" and refuses to have anything to do with "having a cub", Yu Wei starves herself for five days! Dizzy and weak, she takes her place at the matchmaking table, thinking that with her gaunt, sallow appearance, even a human wouldn't want her, let alone a wolf. Little does she know that across from her is a wolf who is just as determined to avoid marriage, but has been dragged there against his will. He figures he might as well pick someone who'll die without putting him through too much trouble. So when he sees Yu Wei, who's already on the verge of dying without him having to do a thing, how could his eyes not light up? He says casually, "I'll take her." She escaped the fox den only to fall into the wolf's lair... From then on, Yu Wei vows to become self-reliant so she can dump that "old" wolf as soon as possible! Warning: By volume three, the romance is already over. Volume four onward is full of neighborhood and household matters, though it may be just the thing for readers who love cubs. If you absolutely don't want a story about having children, don't buy the whole series. Theme:
