My Mary Sue Fiancée (A Human's True Delight Is Joy, Zhai Zhiwei Fanfiction)

I watched a little of The Best Taste in the World and thought it was pretty good. It's rare these days to find a show where the male lead, female lead, and second male lead are all good actors. The characters are a little awkward, but it's pretty funny. For some reason, I got swept off my feet by the second male lead: a handsome rich heir, a returnee from overseas, a hotshot entrepreneur, and a smooth talker... He's so swoony, and impossible to resist. So I thought I'd start writing. The characters may be a bit OOC, so please don't mind.

Excerpt: Ye Jiaqi: "Zhai Zhiwei, snap out of it. You've been staring at her for ages. What am I, your fiancee, supposed to think? You're not thinking, 'Good, woman, you've successfully caught my attention. It's rare to meet a girl so pure and unaffected by my looks. Interesting...' are you? That's so childish. Besides, that girl obviously isn't into your type."

Zhai Zhiwei: "Why would I think something like that? My dear fiancee, your secret identity is showing. So much for being a proper young lady! Or are you doing this to get my attention? Not bad, but unfortunately, I like girls like the one just now." Ye Jiaqi: "I want your attention? That's hilarious. Why would I like a guy like you, some kind of Jack-Su? And didn't your uncle tell you what I'm like?" Zhai Zhiwei thought: What did Dad tell me about her? @_@ A proper young lady? That has nothing to do with her personality. A top graduate of Columbia University? No. Good at playing musical instruments... I think that was it. Oh, right. Jiaqi can be a little blunt, so you have to be understanding. To be continued
