Mutual Love (Summer's Desire: Litchi CP)

Li Xia: That summer, the handsome, sunny boy walked right into my heart. His clear, pleasant voice rang out: "Your name is Li Xia? That's a pretty nice name." When I was sad, he said, "You should smile more! You look pretty when you smile." When I ran into trouble, he said, "It's okay, I'll help you." When people gave me a hard time, he said, "I really... really admire you. Don't worry, as long as I'm around, no one can bully you." We made faces together, stood up to our teachers together, chatted together, rode our bikes together... Just thinking of all these little moments makes my lips curl into a smile. Lu Zhi'ang, what should I do? I think I feel happy whenever I see you.

Lu Zhi'ang: Maybe I knew from the first moment that she was special. That's why I couldn't help caring for her, looking after her, and protecting her... "Li Xia, what I wanted to say that day was, I really like you." But I was afraid! Afraid that if I said it, you'd avoid me. Afraid we wouldn't even be able to stay friends. So it's enough for me to keep quietly watching over you like this. When you're unhappy, I'll make you laugh; when you're in trouble, I'll be there with you; when you're hurt, I'll protect you... But sometimes I really can't help wanting to know more about you, wanting to know what you like, wanting to get closer, wanting to love you, wanting you to love me too.
