[One Piece] Squirrel with Mandarin Fish

[An adorable and delicate-looking mermaid who's actually a sadistic weakling x A straight-laced, tough guy Marine Vice Admiral unwillingly turned masochist] Also known as "Giving a Squirrel to a Fish" and "The Squirrel and the Noble Fish." [Brainstormed Blurb] At fourteen, the mermaid Anmases was imprisoned by the Celestial Dragons in a luxurious fish tank for six years. During the liberation of Mary Geoise, sparked by the fish-man adventurer Fisher Tiger, she finally got a chance to escape. But after years of confinement, she could barely walk, whether on her tail or on the legs she'd only just developed. She couldn't flee from Mary Geoise, atop the Red Line, by herself. Fortunately, she met Miss White Rose, a CP0 officer who had secretly taken part in the liberation. Rescued by her, Anmases became a subordinate of Miss White Rose, Rosabal, and was put to work running errands. Delivering intelligence and documents to her superior, who was always running around on missions or dates, was Anmases's everyday job. But she wasn't content with being just an errand girl. When her superior didn't want to handle a particular mission, Anmases boldly volunteered to do it for White Rose. The target: Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral Momonga. Momonga, now past thirty, had dutifully followed the Marines' long-standing tradition of remaining single. His serious personality (and unusual hairstyle) meant the women around him saw him only as a superior officer, and he was still single. But he never imagined that first the seemingly undateable Admiral Akainu Sakazuki would get married, and then Kuzan, who had been a bachelor just like him, would find himself a beautiful companion in Miss White Rose. Momonga offered his congratulations, but couldn't help shedding bitter tears. I want a girlfriend! I want a wife! The straight-laced Momonga roared deep in his heart. One night, Kuzan dragged him to a bar, where Momonga saw Miss White Rose, the woman he'd once felt drawn to, whisk Kuzan away. Forced to watch them being lovey-dovey, he could only drown his sorrows in drink. Then... The next morning, Momonga woke up naked in his study. Looking at the ransacked room and the purple-crystal-like fish scales scattered across the floor, he silently held his head and pondered: W-wait a second. What kind of creature did I sleep with last night? His first time was with... a female mermaid!? [Reading Guide] ◆ Main couple: Original female lead x Marine Vice Admiral Momonga.
