The Young Master Is Thinking of Me Again

Complete.

After graduating from university, Zhang Fanning followed in her father's footsteps and went to work at a farm owned by the Cheng family. Online, she met an industry big shot.

The other person was knowledgeable and always answered her questions, so perfect that Zhang Fanning suspected she'd fallen for a pig-butchering scam, though she could never prove it.

Until one night, the other person finally slipped up:

Ahh: [It's going to snow in England. Want to come?]

Zhang Fanning cautiously tested the waters: [Can I see your cows?]

Three minutes later, she was blocked.

Zhang Fanning was immediately certain the other person was a scammer. He didn't even raise cows!

In his last year exiled to England, Cheng Ying met an abstract girl online.

He said the moon was beautiful tonight. She said it was just right for feeding the chickens without turning on the lights. He said the weather was getting cold and she should bundle up. She said cows shouldn't be getting pregnant at this time of year.

But it didn't matter. The photo on her social media profile showed only half her face, and she was so beautiful that even her oddball side seemed charming.

Of course, that was assuming she hadn't wanted to see the cows that night.

December. The first snow fell in Xinting.

Zhang Fanning got word that the young master of the Cheng family, newly returned from abroad, was coming to the farm for some hands-on experience.

That day, heavy snow closed the mountain roads. After going through untold hardships to pick him up, she found a handsome young man with rosy lips and pearly teeth staring at her, eyes wide.

The young master was good-looking, but impossibly fussy. Every day, Zhang Fanning wanted to knock him out ten thousand times.

One snowy night, she was hiding in her room eating hot pot when he pushed the door open. "Do you still want to see them?"

Zhang Fanning stared at him blankly, a fish ball between her teeth. "See what?"

He tightened the belt of his bathrobe and leaned against the doorway. "The cows."

She's unbelievably weird, and yet so very beautiful.

I think this must be that damned sweet thing called love.
