Lotus, Still Unsnowed

Wen Jianxue is the weakest female disciple of the Taibai Sect. It isn't because she doesn't train hard; she and her older sister, Wen Jianyue, are both frail and in poor health.

On the day of her thirteenth birthday, the entire Taibai Sect was placed under strict lockdown. But Wen Jianyue told her she could leave Taibai and go have some fun. Without giving it much thought, Wen Jianxue happily left the mountain for the first time since joining Taibai. As soon as she arrived at the Sunken Sword Pool, she ran into Xi Feng, the senior disciple of the Shenwei Sect.

Xi Feng told her that a disciple of the Tianxiang Sect had killed three fellow disciples in a single night and fled the sect. Afterward, she had even killed two disciples of the Tang Sect. Rumors now placed her in Qin Chuan, so he and the senior disciples of the other sects had brought their own disciples to hunt her down.

Wen Jianxue thought it was thrilling to encounter such a major event on her first outing. Taking advantage of Xi Feng's unfamiliarity with Qin Chuan's terrain and roads, she eagerly offered to guide him.

While Xi Feng and Lu Tao of the Beggars' Sect, whom he had run into on the mountaintop, paid their respects to Mo Xiangsi, the late former senior disciple of Taibai, Wen Jianxue met a beautiful, gentle, and kind woman in the Valley of the Medicine King. Carrying an umbrella, she was clearly a disciple of Tianxiang. During their conversation, she told Wen Jianxue that her name was Lianyi.

But Wen Jianxue never imagined... that after meeting Lianyi, her future would begin to veer toward an unpredictable ending...
