I'm the East Depot's Leading Lady

Monkey's ongoing historical romance: [The Manor Lord Gu and His Guard Ye]

Ye disguises herself as a man to scrape by at the Six Fan Gate, but her overflowing sense of justice gets her into trouble. While investigating a case, she ends up taking the blame for a powerful figure and is driven out of the capital. With nowhere else to go, she happens to become a personal guard to Gu Qingshang, the lord of Hidden Moon Manor.

Before long, everyone knows that Lord Gu's favorite thing is taking Guard Ye along to crime scenes. Later, a rumor spreads throughout the martial world: there is no case Lord Gu and Guard Ye can't solve.

They first met at the Maple Forest Inn in late autumn that year. Ran Feng softly called him, "Hey, handsome!" Shen Zui suddenly got so nervous he could barely get the words out. This story is set in an alternate version of the Ming dynasty. Please don't associate it with any actual Ming emperor. The events, place names, official titles, and everything else are simply borrowed for convenience. Thanks!
